to be honest. i dont think this has anything to do with pregnancy... there are a lot of tests in life. just cause the first verse implys that hes refering to a girl doesnt mean that passing tests and bleeding are about pregnancy. watch the music video. not saying it explains anything. but music videos normally SOMEhow relate. i think this is just stating all the qualities that make for a good friendship. some of it is sexual and just for kicks but some of it is deeper and about being there for friends in need. |

First of all, this song is amazing. I found it in an epic longboarding video of a guy bombing the biggest hill ive ever seen and they had this song played over but they left all the lyrics out except for "Slow motion see me let go... We'll remember these days." The videos called Let Go if anyone wants to see it. but anyways. I mean, i guess this could be about the "ghetto" and everything. idk enough about the guy to assume that its personal. but when i heard it. i interpreted it as like... anywhere we go in our lives. something is gonna go wrong. nothing just happens perfectly. i feel like this is about all those things that go wrong in life and when you really think about it. they are beautiful. youll never feel so attatched to a person as when you see blood start trickling down their nose and you realize these might be the last few seonds of that persons life. and in those few seconds life becomes more beautiful than you could possibly imagine. then about how something so dramatic and life changing could take place in such a simple rural area where you and your friends would get together and relax. i guess i kinda see it as. its the wrong things in life that are truely beautiful. cause no matter how high lady gaga can sing or how many chicks lil wayne gets. theyll never know what its like to watch the world burn around you and try and find beauty. its the wrong things we remember. its the wrong things that are beautiful. |
