Well technically god can't fall in love with us because he's already been in love with us from the start. God IS love so he can definitely evoke the emotion of love in us. In fact, all love comes from god. But the song is written so that it can be interpreted either way so if you see it as a love song between a boy and girl, you are completely free to interpret it that way. But I'm positive that falling up intended it to be a love song to god |
