In my eyes, this portrays someone who was possibly threatened with death by someone else acting in an emotional, rash, manner. The song goes on to speak of possible regret the killers feels.
This song warns not to act upon emotion and split-second decisions because you will, most likely, regret the outcome of the situation. |

That book is Imajica.
The band's original name was named after the book (Imajica) but, for legal reasons they had to change their name. And thats how they came to be The Birthday Massacre! :D Imajica is a great book btw...Its by Clive Barker if youd like to read it. |
