This is a beautiful song. I beleive this song is about a man who is experiencing his last few moments before death. Thoughts are coming to him of his life... the good things, the simple things, the bad. Several lines in the song lead me this conclusion: Now there's something here before me A figure, I think Isn't there a warning Or something to drink My god, my god Others came before me Others to come, to come His last thoughts before dying are of the one his loves and longs for the most.... |
