| Well there aren't many lyrics here but, come on, this album came out right as they broke up. If you really pay attention to the lyrics, it's all about Tim. "Never in tune just sigh" . . . really who's more out of tune than Tim Armstrong? He even got Brody to sing out of tune and she can sing like a mofo. This song, in my opinion, is about them fighting (again) and she really wants him to just sigh and not fly off the handle again, which he was prone to do to her. When you hear Brody talk about her relationship, it all makes sense. This song is basically saying, for one night, I'll fucking be yours again, if you just don't be a douche. I know it's over and I can't do this anymore, but, for just one night, be you again, be the dude I fell in love with. It's one of the most powerful and depressing songs she ever wrote, and I don't think it's accidental. | |
