I just dont like pearl jam as much as STP or the seattle bands. I was also a huge Mother Love Bone fan, and maybe it's not fair to Pearl Jam to compare them to MLB. I think PJ was the weakest of that group, that doesn't mean I don't think they are good. It's like being the poorest person at a billionaire's convention, you're still a billionaire.

I absolutely love the bass line in the chorus! It was not until I actually covered a few STP songs and learnt a few of his bass lines that I realize and appreciated that he was true genius of the instrument. He is a master of melodic lines yet always supports the bottom end. Watching him here makes you realize that the coolest looking musicians don't even try, they just are.
