To me this is all about how sometimes people try so hard to be the best or make an image for themselves and judge everyone who doesnt live up to their standards. I think of it as a transition between trying to be some big-shot and realising that being happy and being human is more important than accomplishing life goals and all that bullshit. Or maybe i miss the point... Hmm |

I see this as jim feeling a strong detachment from life along with alot of craziness and confusion. Thats why the music sounds so insane during the verses, the when he get to the "run with me" part it sounds more resolute. So he's saying " everythings just out of control, let's just say fuck it and run." that whole thing about the book he was reading sounds like it's probably more accurate but this is just how i always felt the song was about |

I think this song is about a place he's in in his life. He's trying to get somewhere but never does and i think this just shows alot of frustration about that. A lot of the comments try to relate the lyrics to relationships and shit, and if thats what they mean to you, then more power to you. I just think that isaac is a bit more original than that. |
