No one has commented on this beautiful song?! The music is stunning and Nick's voice is just "aw"-inspiring. But as for the meaning. I think this is pretty much about a boy who is completely in love with this girl. He feels like he knows everything about her and he is so familiar with her features, everything she does. They always get into fights, but the boy just wants the girl to know that no matter what they are fighting about, his love will always be on her side even if his words are not. Make sense? |

This song is sort of sad...a bittersweet sort of feel to it. It's about a boy who is so in love with this girl and he threw it all away because of something stupid. So now she is with a new guy and he hopes that he treats her right. He hopes that she is happy. He wants to make sure she stays with him and to make it last. So in a way, I agree with ThreeCheersForFiveYears. Beautiful song though. |

Hmmm.... This one proved a bit of a challenge, but I think the cablovex3 could be right in both senses. It's however you interpret it. But I did get the vibe that it could be about two best friends who find out they have feelings for each other, but her boyfriend gets in the way of things. So she is cheating on her boyfriend. So the narrator is just saying, "Tell me that you love me, and it'll be alright." possibly meaning that if they love each other it isn't wrong. So even if she doesn't love him, it doesn't matter. Her just saying it makes it feel okay ("Two kids, one love, who cares if we make it up?") Then at the end he gets tired of all these charades and tells her, "Tell HIM that you love ME and it'll be alright". The title could also mean = he can't believe that his secret yearnings are reciprocated and he also can't beleive that he has put himself in this situation to be the "other man" so to speak. Make sense? I hope so. I love this song with a burning passion though<3 |

| I think what the narrator of this song is saying is that...well let's face it...he's saying he is a man whore and he knows it. He is also saying that he has a history of one-night stands. He's saying he's skilled in the art of getting girls in his bed, but then he realizes he may want something more with this girl. He wants it to be real. So he's trying to break out of his habit of just having one-night stands. A very catchy song and sort of sweet in a way. I wish it was on iTunes... | |

| I think the narrator of the song is sort of mourning for a love lost. He talks about how the winding road that is life has taken him away from his lover to placeshe never thought or wanted to be. He's holding on to this love though, hoping that one day they wil meet again. He was really in love with this girl and now they can't be together. It was like a summer love. I think thunder is a metaphor for something. Like in the line "You'll always be my thunder" meaning that she will always be the best part of him(?). I'm not sure on that. Might have to ponder on that for a while.... | |
