Hayley says " The song is about self righteous people who are judgemental and throw all of their bad reflections of themselves on you to sort of blame you to make themselves feel better " In the making of the "Playing God" music video . The mentions of God in my opinon in this video , isnt the religous God sense . I think they mean that the person acts like their better than everyone , and as if their perfect , which only God is . |

This song is about a girl named Tina that came up to Lacey to tell her , her story : Tina believed that if she got married and fell in love that she would live happily ever after , so she did and they had their first kid but they argued and it got worse and worse and he started beating her so she set herself on fire and she was in so much pain that she prayed for the first time in her life and said God if your real please stop my pain at that moment she went into a coma and when she woke up she knew He was real she had no hair , nose , or ears . She showed Lacey her Drivers Liscense before the fire and Lacey said she was so beautiful she could have been in a magizine , and Tina was stressing to her to live her life to the fulles tbecause alot of times we go thourgh life and not live it to the fullest , and she was beggin Lacey with all she had in her to not take life for granted . |
