| I have a different interpertation of this song. I think it could be about a father letting his daughter go and then her coming back and seeing how much she's changed. "Did you fall for a shooting star" seems to me like he's asking her if she's fallen in love with a man. & I think this is the way parents should think about their children. But idk that could just be me.(: | |

Okaay so I'm a person with a kind of hurtfilled past, I've been sooo desperateleeey struggling to get over itt.. & It's soo weird because I heard this song on Degrassi & right away I had to look it up, because it inspired me and made me.. Well honestly I think it's about a person who is depressed. "I want a sunburn" I think he/she wants to be in pain just so they know whats happening is real. The person believes that if they can't see happiness then they should just die because its not worth living life anymore. There's one part I'm unsure about and its "Where everyone you know never leaves to soon." I think that possibly means that somebody they loved died and now they don't want to live? But now they realize life is too precious to throw away right when they're about to die. And now they want to soak up whatever time is left. The first part relates to my life right now so I appreciate this song more than i did a few years ago. |
