I've listened to this song over and over for a couple of hours now. But i'm going to give the meaning a shot. Well, I think he's saying how much he loves her even though she has her imperfections "Humble but you're greedy", which is contradicting himself like the title beautiful mess which is clearly an oximoron. But I think he's also trying to say that even though sometimes she can do things, which is can't. He loves her anyway - I like being submerged in your contradictions dear. By the end though, it shows that no matter they've made it through and he loves her. Just a thought :) Either way, this song is beautiful. Please reply if you think you have a better meaning for I like being submerged in your contradictions dear because i really love this line! :) |
