'the coolest looking musicians don't even try, they just are.'
ladies and gentlemen: Confucius. You start with discussing his supposed musical genius then abruptly segue to a little gay quip about how he's 'cool looking,' and then end it all with something that makes zero sense at best. Thanks for your input, very insightful |

Saw STP on 07-19-09 at Merriweather Post in Maryland. Had been waiting to see them for over 10 years. Possibly the best concert that I have EVER seen. Chunky riffs, intense lyrics, outstanding show, had the audience on their feet screaming out the lyrics the entire concert. New album for Christmas, and then hopefully another tour. Can't wait. You got to see them! You will never forget seeing STP live! Best rock band out there period! |

I'm not really a group person, but I can see why teens and young adults of this decade are pissed. There is no mainstream music for people in their 20s, it's all just teeny bopper shit.
hopefully now that STP and AIC is back... possibly soundgarden making an album next year.. hopefully all the modern rock posers will be put to rest |

I really don't care about all that mainstream crap everyone is talking about.
Bands weren't concerned about their music defining their generation, or any other musician of any genre of music. If you don't like the song find something else to listen to. They perform because they love music and want other people to enjoy it as well. Let the corporations and the radio charts take care of themselves.

i love this song
to me its not so much of scott being random during the verses... just more of him showing his creative side which is one of his strongest writing points |

Reality bites was indicative of a slice of my life at that moment.Saw alice in chains at lollapoloza , remember where I was when kurt died, Thought for sure that Scott would have killed himself off by now ...Glad you youngsters know great music still

If your in your 20s or 30s now you cant help but feel a mix between spoiled and cheated when it comes to music from back in the day. The similarites between the late 60s early 70s and the 90s are undeniable. music that inspires a generation. |

yes take me back to the year 1992...
when i saw a blonde headed scott weiland and co. on MTV making their debut with their first single Sex Type Thing. That song was played all the time. after hearing it i immediatley went to the store and bought core and been jamming it ever since. i bought this album for sex type thing but what i discovered was much better. a song called sin. this song is easily one of their best songs.... so dark and mysterious... like you know its about violence within a relationship ( which i know has already been stated thanks to people who go to wikipedia ) but still the verses and bridge are open to open intrepretation by the listener. heard the new album and dont get me wrong its fucking fantastic. but cmon stp go back to your roots for the next albums. and i heard them play this back in 08 and practically shat my pants. STP 4 Life one of the greatest bands of all time |
