He wants to know that she'll be there for him even if he's all sentimental and sappy. Can be his pathetic self and not hold back. |

| Genesis – In Too Deep Lyrics

He's overthinking things, he's thinking about "love" rather than just experiencing it. You can tell he has no balls by that high singing but he shows you.
So it's okay to be "stuck in love" rather than just be a real human being. |

| Foreigner – Heart Turns to Stone Lyrics

Love can't last forever.
He took her for granted, and she left. And now he's miserable what he lost.
And now that her "love" isn't there he doesn't care about her. |

Some people try and align themselves with satan. They feel they can get by on the "other" path because they can't get by on the "common" path then they start doubting their experiences, and start stepping into their alter-ego and getting overly introspective and lose track of other people and replace it with "their" experience. |

| Ozzy Osbourne – Breaking All The Rules Lyrics
| 15 years ago
|
Normal teenage rebellion. Trying to be an individual. He wants to feel special. He looks at the risks other people take, and see's the way they lie and then uses that as something to feel "different" about. And then he wants to "break the rules" and be like them. Because he thinks it's cos he's conforming too much, and that's his problem.
Like I said earlier, typical teenage rebellion. He's not special. He's just another rebel.

Y'know some people think that their experiences should be special. And she's on of them.
She expects life to somehow magically treat her better. She's completely failing to realise the only person you can change is yourself. And she's blaming her "experience" rather than just doing something to change her life. |

| Skunk Anansie – Brazen Lyrics

For some reason she feels the need to hurt other people to get a reaction out of them. And now she's looking back and realising that she couldn't see the hurt she was doing, because the recipient wasn't reacting the way that she intended them to.
So now she's realised that just because the other person isn't reacting doesn't mean that it's not having an effect and she's feeling guilty so instead of talking to the recipient she wrote a song about it. This way she can make money off the recipient's suffering. But that's just business, right? We all have to make a living.

He's such a victim. You'd think he'd just get over himself. You can't kill yourself by holding your breath. It's what anxious people do. Why's he so useless. He's getting way too self-reflective and just needs to get over himself.
Maybe one day he'll grow up. At least he can use the excuse that he was a kid when he wrote this.

She's a needy little girl, she doesn't want to own up to how he's not right for her. You'd think she'd push him away but she's got low self-esteem and has become dependant and is too busy singing about her feelings and how things make her feel rather than just dealing with her life. |

| Queen – Play The Game Lyrics

Life's a game it can be scary to take life too seriously. He wants to take the easy way.. Although he'd like to know the "rules" because he doesn't trust that he can get by without knowing whta guidelines he should follow.
And so it's started to turn into this situation where he feels like people are going to take advantage of him. And so now he's turning that on other people. And he wants other people to be free cos he's not. He just needs love and then he'll be free. It's not really love he needs. It's balls. But you know what love does to some boys. |

| Pearl Jam – Off He Goes Lyrics

He sees this man who has lived a struggling life. He's looking back and relating.. trying to see how someone else would see him... He sees that people are kind of careful with him and try to "help" him and tell him that he should relax but he doesn't want to listen. He still jokes around, because he can't take seriously what he's become.
But life catches up with him, his pattern is too strong and it's not going to break.
Kind of a depressing song. Should be taken with a grain of salt. |

At last, someone who's honest. He's broken. You're broken.

Does it ever end? He still hasn't found himself. He's still looking. You'd think he would have given up by now. But no, he goes on. He's still unforgiven. Just how long can one person self-indulge.
He's looking inside instead of just living life. |

He's a broken man. He's been fighting all his life to no avail and he doesn't know what has caused this but he feels that "someone" hasn't forgiven him. That is probably himself, but he doesn't seem to take this into account. Instead he blames others. |

He's a divided man, and he knows he's taking risks, and that his life in a state of jeopardy. His love is making him kind of foolish, and he can attach to someone in his life to make up for the deficit in other parts of life. Although he cares for his partner he says nothing of what she does for him other than trick him into taking care of her. What's he get out of it? He's "in love" and not thinking rationally. And so he's "walking the line" |

He's still a young boy, and doesn't know what to do with himself when he's in love. In time he will come to realise that he's only at the beginning of understanding love. And no-one can completely understand love because love removes the thinking part of the brain, and when you think about it you stop experiencing love. |

| Queensrÿche – Someone Else Lyrics

He's not in touch with himself. He feels like he's looking upon himself as if he is not himself, and that he's deatched and looking at himself from the outside rather than looking at the world from the outside.
This sometimes happens when people get depressed and feel like they've done something wrong and do too much navel gazing. |

He still sounds like he has no balls, and that he has to try and make up for some deficit. He can't just be, he's to busy justifying his own existance. You'd think he would have grown up by now. He's not a kid anymore.
