There are so many different layers and textures to this record, yet so many critics and othes were stuck in that first impressions mode and couldn't accept that STP had changed and finally developed their own sound. |

dude stp didnt sound like pearl jam or alice in chains or nirvana. yea so scott had a deep voice in the beginning of his career, but so did layne, does that mean he was copying eddie too?? and they were more musically talented then nirvava, sure they had catchy songs and made grunge popular, but they werent the hardest songs to learn. and pearl jams music sounded totally diffrent from stp, stp had more variety, just listen to purple and all the others |

Wow, how very interesting, I've not heard this song in years, and for the longest time I'd been trying to figure out the meaning behind most of STP's work. It seems to talk of a girl who is estranged from her family, that they were consumed by greed and she's left to pick up the pieces.
I love this song though, fantastically catchy acoustic guitar riff, awesome voice. Easily one of their best works. |

hey hey screw you guys this song is one of the best on the new album!
it almost got voted as the second single but take a load off BARELY beat it out..
actually i dont agree with mwantero... i dont see how that could be this song seems to happy upbeat... possibly the most upbeat song they ever recorded
however i do agree with stpfan22 i would be a little pissed if it was released as a single bc i think it would cause alot of bandwagon fans =/ |
