I'd say there's less Christian imagery and more of simply the struggles of every person on this planet and the fruitlessness of it. There's too much doubt to say it's Christian specifically, he finds "Uncertainty in happiness and death, because what's next is such a mystery" and says to "sing not for the final outcome." Plus, part of the chant is "Though we're not sure where we'll go." Can a Christian enjoy it? Obviously. Is it Christian? No. The singer has even commented that, though he is a Christian, he tries to keep it out of the song (for the most part) to appeal to everyone. |
