wow! your explanation line for line really sort amazed me in a way. even when I read that line about the Pablo Honey back cover Jesus image, I instantly looked at it and realized that I never even noticed that before. Great interpretation. |

I know this may be super fuckin late. like 3 years late, but I'm a new member to this site and I was reading certain song interpretations when I came across yours here. Is THIS TRUE what you say about his crash and that eye? cuz I read somewhere that he was born with that half-shut eye lid. Please clarify, cuz I'm extra curious on your explanation. |

i didn't really see that movie, but now I really want to cuz I have heard several great things about it. anyways, I first heard this song at some point when I really felt like I was about to have a mental breakdown. My ex girlfriend stole from me, lived with me, played me, said nothing but shit about me even though I was incredibly sweet to her. she really fucked my head up. then I found out that few of best were sorta being extra phoney with me after a whole fuckin decade of great times. My uncles were also talkin about me as being a huge failure let-down in the family. I was havin such a horrible pain in my heart and in my soul, when i really heard this song and i constantly listened to it to just let my worrys fade away. I almost feel like this song was a bit of recovery helper and I still love it. |
