the song is about drug use. 7 caged tigers refers to the 7 days in a week. caged tigers is a metaphore, the 7 days u could have made somthing happen, instead u sat around getting mashed. 7 caged tigers. and when ur high time just flys by!! and as this continues the answer does get harder and harder, as with the truth getting farther. i used to snort oxys to this song, but now i found life. surprisingly i found it while tripping in the woods,,. go figure. |

Eternal melody, vocal modulation and effects, mind-trip, teasing, sexual, spiritual.
Since Core release I hear this song over and over getting tones of inspiration and creativity.

Actually Dean had this tune floating around since the Talk Show days (96'-97'). So I don't understand where people come from when they say this is nothing like old STP. Sorry that STP isn't predictable like most other bands these days. Anything STP releases sounds like STP because the Deleo brothers are some of the best song writers of all time and have a unique sound to all of their tunes |

ok its pretty much well stated this song is about some hippy girl from the 60s.... but i think scott related the girl in this song to someone he knows in real life... possibly his first wife janina IMO
could make sense
she too struggled with heroin addiction and the lines how many nights did you make it without i think are about her .... he probaly hasnt talked to her in forever and sometimes thinks about her when hes all alone ... who knows if shes still struggling or not nobody knows anything about her
she thought shed be famous - she may have thought dating scott weiland would have brought her fame... whether she would have wanted it or not
