I agreed with mellanslaget but actually I think Omerta ends up a whole history told in the album since the beggining: I don't know exactly what history, but something envolving a big crime, an escape, guilt, an arresting and a 2nd character (besides the narrator) who have a strong relationship with the main narrator, maybe a friend, a partner, a lover or a brother.
i don't know why but i really think that none of the songs have a woman as a character so i guess the whole album deals with men's relationships of trust, fellowship and maybe love. |

I met anneke last week, during an acoustic show with danny cavanagh in Brazil. I asked her about the lyrics of 2 the gathering songs and Amity is one of then. She saids amity is about a fake friendship, about one person that cheats and lies and is extremely critical. She said that's a little bit ironic lyric too, and it's a "kind of" Elèanor (song from Mandylion Album). And she's extremely sweet and amazing with all fans that asks about her lyrics =)

I met anneke last week, during an acosutic show with danny cavanagh in Brazil. I asked her about the lyrics of 2 the gathering songs and travel is one of then. She saids Travel is really about mozart and about her feelings and intentions to know what goes in his heart and in his mind. And she wanted mozart to know how much he and his thoughts matters for her. She said that's a very special song too.
