While I do agree with you on most things you've said here and I do believe coincidence does not exist at all in life , I don't agree with you about "in religion being rules and stuff, which doesn't do really do anything". Perharps my own interpretation of your very words here is wrong but you seem to imply that religions rules are bad and do nothing good to people who do use them. I'm a proud born again Jew practionner and my religion has always been about doing things to please The LORD and to help other people, being someone good inside, caring ect It's all about love, peace and understanding. That's how the jewish religion (the most ancient religion in the world) is and while I do agree with you about Mr Mercury not pracitizing a specific religion (people talk about the odd "zoroastraian" one) and just believing into the Creator of The Universe and his goodness for his creatures, I needed to tell you that, yes, you can be a believer into a religion , embracing it and acting like Freddie talks about in this track and the beautiful "The Miracle". So please don't do what most of the current atheists/agnostics or "anti religion" people are doing by bashing them and thinking they're all about war and hatred while it's totally the opposite. I do think Freddie has always been a strong believer. You know many people do believe without following a specific religion. You can just believe into a higher and superior force that rules us all and created the world we're living in. Just listen and read the lyrics about The Miracle from the album of the same name, it's so OBVIOUS Freddie is a strong believer and praising all the miracles The LORD has made, is making and will make till the end of time (after). |

Joe Rosenfeld, you've just shown me how awful your knowledge of music and Bellamy voice and lyrics in particular is. His voice is unbeareable on Dead Star album recording. The guy screams like a pig someone is opening the throat with a knife ! While here Bellamy poses his voice way way better, anyone with a proper ear AND knowledge about how to use your voice efficiently to sing better (I can tell I've been getting singing lessons for years) will tell you that his singing has improved BIG TIME between the OOS/Dead Star Era and The Resistance one. He was always losing his breathe and breathing way too heavily between every line he was singing on the first two albums. Since Absolution, he has learned to use it more wisely and efficently the way I've studied how to not abuse mine via "screaming" more than "singing" (and that's exactly what he is doing in Dead Star studio recording, screaming over singing). As for the lyrics, I've been studying any single aspect of Muse music for years now and especially the lyrics since that's my own speciality (I write about many things from movies to music to social and philosophical subjects as well). And FACT IS TIRO lyrics are some of the cheesiest and crapiest Matt has ever written. NSC ones blew them out of the water easily IMO cause NSC deals with something extremely powerful and simple as the same time and something we can all relate to. So next time you try to bash someone else, KNOW YOUR FACTS before going back to him and learn to shut your mouth down when you have no clue about what you're talking about. |

This track is totally ANTI RELIGION. This dumbass has the guts to criticize three books he has probably never read or simply did not understand them. I've studied all of them and, unlike him and all those so proud anti religious and atheists people here, I do respect anyone belief. My main problem with this track lyrically wise (I do find it excellent instrumentally and that I was brought to it via The Killers cover which is as good instrumentally but different). It's one thing to not "believe" into G.OD and labouring yourself an atheist. It's another thing insulting HIM. As a strong believer I've never insulted any atheist and their own beliefs, to each his/her own. So why insulting other people beliefs ? Religion IS the reason why there are wars and death in the world REALLY ? If there are wars in the world its because Humanity is plain dumb right now , plain and simple. Racism is everywhere and it has nothing to do with religion, all of you so called atheists here sound "racist" to me, racist to religion and believers, plain and simple. Tolerance, love and both yourself and others and sharing your knowledge and what you own to help others and mainly poorer people (both spiritually, physically and materially) are what The Torah and The Old Testament (I don't believe into the New One) are. That's what Religion taught me, to have respect for any creature in the world be it a stone, a tree, an animal or another human being. That's what G.OD is all about, PEACE, LOVE and UNDERSTANDING. The so called people who do kill others like Al Quaida, Hamas and Hezbollah via suicidal terrorists acts are just that terrorists who do find and use RELIGION as an EXCUSE and a way to express their anger and intolerance towards other ethnicities and people who do think differently than them, plain and simple. Those ones are scum of the universe and an insult to humanity, plain and simple. You cannot make a fuckin generalization about The LORD HIMSELF and BELIEVERS based on a minorty of retards whom are creating wars and chaos in his name. Plain and simple. You have the choice between acting "good" or "evil" in life and I ve never felt more at peace since I was born than since The LORD found me back a few years ago. I'm a former atheist and agnostic just in case you're wondering, So I can relate to anyone here BUT I've never felt the need to insult believers when I was an atheist. That's the big difference. This song is a total and geniune MASTERPIECE from start to finish. Anything sounds perfect it from the gentle piano and Bellamy subtle voice (reminiscent of the late Freddie Mercury) then the excellent backing vocals from Christopher Wolstenholme to the epic drummage explosion from the brillant Dominic Howard , brillantly melted with the synthe riff. This track would have fit EASILY on their brillant fifth album and it's easily their best work after MK Ultra and Resistance on it. I'm laughing pretty hard at all the so called haters who are crying out loud "Muse is my fave band ever but this is mainstream shit !" "they suck ! they ve sold their soul to the twilight devil !" "where is the band who was making time is running out and bliss" ROFLMAO How IRONIC Is THIS ? Nothing is more MAINSTREAM and CHEESY Lyrically AND Musically Wise than Bliss and TIRO ! Give me the peace and joy in your mind for four straight minutes = ultra cheesy and repetitive I wanna play the game, I want the friction ! = super cheesy and one of their worst work EVER. NSC totally blews those two out of the water by it's deepness, subtility, poetry, sensitivity and unique majestic aura. This is a pure beauty and I'm so glad they do play it on EVERY SINGLE GIG since it's released, a beautiful way to tell you HATERS to STICK IT To The Arse BIG TIME ! MUSE Is ALIVE and better than EVER ! Oh and I'm laughing so hard at the guy who claimed Matt's voice is not as good as it was six years ago. Reality check : He has never sang as greatly as NOW. Listen to the so called masterpiece OOS and compare his voice there to what we can hear on this track and resistance = He has improved big time and NSC destroys anything from Showbiz vocally wise IMO |
