I think it's about staying in a relationship because of others expectations, possibly parents. He seemed to have high expectations that she could change (I will never be what you want to see now) She's letting him tell people that he tried (How long it was to get around to her side of town) Letting him say that she let him down. But they both knew it wouldn't work. yes she never wanted him to leave, they both had to walk away. |

Alot of Julia's songs seem to relate to one guy.. "A book like this" "All of me" "Hold on" Theres probably others... It seems he's a regular occurance, continually leaving her waiting, yet she won't let go. Dazonic- they're probably ment to go together, if u look at the lyrics to all of me & hold on, I think they relate. |

This is an amazing song. To me, it stands for Life, Love and Loss and everything in between. So many parts of this song I can relate to. And i think by 'misguided ghost' It may mean that a person is only a small part of a huge world and is therefore ghostly or only appear to the world in a number or names and not by who they truly are. and that we are all misleaded or misguided by people or life itself. |
