This song will always remind me of Lost, because I first heard it near when Lost was ending and the lyrics remind me of parts of the show. e.g. "plane crash" -obvious! "But I'm sure that I was dreaming"- SO many referenes to dreaming "science"- science v. faith. "another day on this little island" -well, yeah. repetition of "let go"- fairly significant in terms of the last episode. "what we've all become"- changes to the people on island. "what we were all born into"- themes of destiny "the love we have together"- the importance of love for constants etc. obviously the song isn't really about lost, but it reminds me of it, so yeah. |
