| Alright. I just hope in two or three years when J. Cole is probably gonna be huge that he doesn't become a typical mainstream rapper. | |

Respect man. Spot on. The only thing I gotta say is that although I hate his music, Justin Bieber is not a "shit artist." The kid is actually talented, but i do agree that a huge amount of people find him a disgrace because as you said artist like him "are literally made up by executives who make sure they will appeal to the widest audience as possible. They are even told what to write and sing about." This is the best/most thought out comment I have seen on this website. |

"I hope they understand that I really understand, that they don't understand" I think this line is really underrated. It's so simple yet so complex and powerful. He understands that he's misunderstood. And he wants them to know that he knows they think he's wack, but at the same time he doesnt care. Good work Cudi. |

its a shame cuz the guy actually can rap and write lyrics that actually mean something like the first line: "Pussy my passion, never been a fan of flashing" pussy my passion - staying away from the spotlight, hes unknown never been a fan of flashing - cameras, lights, etc. again he stays away from the spotlight.. but the shame is that he clearly has that lupe-like ability to make double meanings and good lyrics but like mainstream rap hes talking about having sex, getting head, all that shit.. If he didnt rap about that and have those fucked up lyrics he would be one of my favorite rappers but damnnn clearly hes probably gonna be famous and people will overlook his crappy lyrics. what a shame.. |

Forrest Whitaker and Lupe describes a scene that happened..while producing a whole new meaning.... Im not gonna go deep just skim that one part but yeah. SICK LYRICS SICK SONG SICK RAPPER | |

| B.o.B – Nothin' On You Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I used to HATE B.o.b, and when I found out that the original song was for Lupe Fiasco(whom I LOVE), but then given to B.o.b instead, I couldnt stand him. But now i respect B.o.b because he put kinda a tribute to Lupe when he says "i've been to london, i've been to paris even went out there to tokyo (tokyo) back home down in georgia to new orleans" Lupe has a song called "Paris, Tokyo" where he says "Let's go to sleep in Paris, and wake up in Tokyo. Have a dream in New Orleans" and i think that B.o.b slipped that in there as kinda thanking/ respecting Lupe. |

| Lupe Fiasco – Failure Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Yeah its more fitting to be Stevie Wonder because he says "I push keys WONDERfully" And its also another meaning with "saying/saiyan" and "keys/ki's" And with the blind things "stick to the streets, keep my dogs out in front of me" he's also talking about the hood. Lupe is just so sick, he's got no match lyrically, and his sound is amazing too. |
