I love this song! To me the meaning is pretty simple; This guy was with a girl, and they loved each other a lot. They graduated high school and she got into a university and he didn't so she left off to college without him. Over time they like seperated and he really misses her so to cope with the pain of losing her he gets drunk. Then he gets a DUI and goes to jail for the night. For his 1 call, he knew he shouldve called his mom to bail him out, but he couldnt get the girl out of his mind so he called her instead. He thinks he wasted his call because they kind of seperated but she shows up, showing that she still cares. (: |
