I'm pretty certain this song is about Sirius Amory, having returned to his planet after approximately 547 days in the Keywork (and believed to have been killed when his ship 'The Meriwell' exploded). He attains celebrity status, which ends poorly. |

| Coheed and Cambria – Key Entity Extraction IV: Evagria the Faithful Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
As Sirius is lying near death, his pulse and heart rate dropping, do to snuffing the match and not forcing Vic the Butcher out of his body. Vic is quickly taking over his body and killing Sirius' soul. As this happens All Mother detects an unidentified soul. This is the woman Evagria. Evagria was a strong and compassionate woman in life, adopted three children from offworld, and always helped people. When she died or a rare and painful bone disease, she was surrounded by loved ones, and showed strength and love even at the moment of her death. As such, she is a pure soul, and her versions of the Keywork is a colorful, peaceful utopia. The bulk of this song is Sirius, lying in the embrace of Evagria. Evagria forces Vic out and erects a force field around them, so no other souls can get near him. He then reflects on his life with Meri. His pursuit of the Keywork, and leaving her behind. He wonders whether or not, he'll find paradise like Evagria, or if his leaving Meri will be his dark defining moment, and make him like the previous souls he encountered. |

| Yeah, I was having a hard time finding any info on the song. This is something a person on one of the Facebook fanpages told me. You're correct, she was an adult, not a child. Thank you for clarifying. | |

| Apparently Evagria was a little girl, who died of a bone disease. Through it all, she was faithful that things would work out, so in the Keywork, she's happy, in a Utopia. After dealing with Vic the Butcher, Sirius is dying due to being divided by the entities. Evagria saves him. | |

This might be THE worst line of logic I've ever seen. Weed grows on coasts? Man, lay off the bong. Maybe then you won't see weed everywhere you look. |

It's also funny how, in trying to look smart, you actually link up proof that you're full of shit. Peter actually says he can't understand, why people like you, would make such a connection and that it is pretty much stupid. So not only do you A.) fail to understand the true meaning of this song, you also B.) Completely missed the point of the artist that is glaringly obvious to everyone who has seen it while trying to smugly use his words as proof, when they basically call you an idiot. Lay off the pot. |

Except, it WASN'T about drugs. Why don't YOU stop getting offended, when you find out that the delusion you have, over a song being related to your drug of choice, turns out to have been wishful thinking, by pot heads who need to draw stupid parallels to their own addiction. The offense comes from druggies taking something pure, and warping and ruining the reputation of a children's song because they are insecure in their own addictions, and need validation through popular culture. |

| Correction, Sizer doesn't exchange with Chase, until Cuts Marked in the March of Men. | |

This song portrays the remnants of Inferno/Jessie and the late prophet Mariah's resistance force. Inferno, being Leonard Hoenberger's clone, took the plans for creating IRO-bots and created a group of them, to use as living bio weapons. This was the purpose of IRO-bots given to Hoenberger from the Prise. Sizor, a direct recreation of Coheed's "Beast" archetype. Offers himself up in exchange for Chase (a recreation of Cambria's Knowledge archetype). Partially due to love of her and, a desire to prove himself to his "father" Jesse and gain his affection. Jackhammers are cannons. The "children" are Jessie's IRO-bots. The "broad incision" is a literal hole in the sky, where the keywork's beam was. |
