I always thought this was more about a guy willing to do anything to get to the 'top', or at least 'the top' in his mind. For some reason when I listen to it, I picture a guy acting normal, and conforming, but really planning something drastic. Like one of those guys who go to the office carrying a gun, because people messed things up on him, you know, 'oh he was so quiet, I thought he was a normal guy'. The music is very fast, and gives off a feeling of anxiety...Like, yea, I'm ready for this, lets do this. I'm the big guy now....But maybe I'm being morbid. I've listened to winter sleeps music for years, the songs on this album are just so driven, and dark. xD I love it. This song especially. |
