as i've noticed many people have written what im just about to
i heard this song and instantly thought i was a reference to NATW as they ahd a relationship but i've heard theya re no longer together so maybe that is the "I'd be sad that I never held your hand as you were lowered, but I'd understand that I'd never let it go"

I read in Kerrang that he wrote this song whilst him and his girlfriend were having some problems. they were spending lots of time apart, with him always being on tour, and he said it got to the point they just stopped caring and he wrote it about how he felt about them breaking up. "i dont know who i am when your sleeping in someone elses bed" is meant to be him saying he doesn't know how he'll feel abuot this big change, they're different people then who they were from when they started and eventually she'll be with someone and it wont be him ):
fortunately they got bakc together but he says that he's glad that they split up whilst they did as it gave him inspiration for his music. |
