it actually kinda is. it's said to be about everyman's adult life financial worries. but obviously in a more romantic harrowing lonesome way. scribbled interpretation: he cant look "love"/his love/whatever in the eyes anymore.. -back in time- was part of a babyboom in ohio. everyone got married,but not him. its unusual enough to be remembered, but unthinkable enough to be forgotten. and i think theres alot here about reconnecting with home and all tht once were familiar. "realness". but it/those/they have changed. financial burdens and other whatfeelslikeunnecessary worris are overshadowing real life, and you feel less, as your focus unconsciously wanders. or something like that whats cool is that the words can fit almost anything,and the songs so grand that you get this very serious partofsomethongbigger feeling thing.. and i think thats part of the meaning, that anyone gets affected in some way and have their own very strong grandiose haunted subjective feeling. songs can be about poetry and moods,free for interpretation. luuuvz it yeah |
