well that's probably true, but people can just take it in a different/wrong way and then it may or may not be true, and thus it doesn't really help them, cus it then wouldn't apply to you |

i think it is stupid for people to try and interpret songs based on how it may or may not apply to them, if the song applies to you it should apply to you based on the validity of the song, not on how you might make it apply to you. that may help in interpreting what songs mean, looking at what the song says for what it says, not getting yourself all involved in it.
dustin obviously knew what he was trying to say and that is probably what he was meaning to say.
