"I'll live forever if I lose my life tonight" is in regards to the military's training. You learn to fight, and that means your fear is stripped. If you're afraid to die- then you can't fight with everything you've got. If you've already accepted death, there could be a chance of winning the fight. What we fear is death- in combat- you're already dead. "I'll live forever if I lose myself tonight". |
