OH man, this breaks my heart. Is it really that hard for most people to decipher British accents when they sing? I wonder if they're laughing their ass off at how their poetry gets destroyed when people try to figure out what they're saying. It's such an incredible song, and the lyrics really are poetry. I wish more people could hear the real beauty in them, as opposed to the nonsense their brains make up to fill in sounds they can't figure out. . . . if a man is born to fall, then let me live against my creed . . . 'cause I am idle drunk and well busy with nothing to do . . . (YES this is how they talk, like "man i am WELL tired" instead of 'very'.) . . . kindly with Fortune . . . She's spending Saturdays in the Arctic with ESSP . . . (http://www.essp.org/) . . . Oh won't you sing something in minor key . . . won't you cling to me in major key |
