@[BlackSunshine84:21806] WheneverI think about the Vietnam War, I think of something that greatly upsets me. I hear that when the soldiers came back home, they were spat on and disgraced. Here these young men go off defending our country and they come back to this awful homecoming. Sad! |

I bet not too many people have noticed this. Get this song and Kraftwerk's "Computer Love" and tell me that part of this song wasn't lifted from Computer Love (easy to do if you subscribe to Rhapsody). First, play the first 3 seconds of Computer Love. Then play from the 3 second mark to the 7 second mark of Talk. Same key, same timing

I love this song musically. Lyeically, not so much. I'vw read interpretations where this song is saying that when a person dies, you can never see them again. If this is what the song is saying, then I have to say this song is a real downer. I hope 2 things: 1) that this is not what the lyrics mean and 2) that interpretation is wrong.
If the interpretation is right, then I hope to find this song as a karaoke track. I simply will not be able to listen to the original w/o crying. |
