I think this song is about a guy (maybe even the REV) standing on the gates of heaven being on his judgement day. He his thinking about all of the fucked up things that humanity does. The verse : "Nothing to heal. No one to break. You'll stand in row now Theres nothing to take. Nothing to trust. No one to fake. You'll find out soon" Talking about waiting in line to be judged and you'll find out soon, your judgement. "Total Nightmare" could be referring to the 'nightmare' of being sent to hell then "LIE: RAPE: KILL: LOVE: HATE: FEAR." Would be the fucked up things that Humanity does that that makes him, in his mind, undeserving of being sent to hell. Personally I think that this is about how the rev is going to hell, but I could be very wrong about that, that is just my intuition. :) |

| I couldn't agree with zachawack1991 more. While i was reading all of these responses that's exactly what I was thinking about the opening lines, it's about looking back in reget, "hear voice a SOUR note in this BITTER serenade". It's interesting how everyone hears a pretty chorus and think's it's a happy or a love song. Judging by their future (especially A Death Grip on Yesterday) work I don't know if Atreyu had had a happy relationship. lol | |
