Michael Jackson – Billie Jean Lyrics 15 years ago
A great song...there are many stories about this song. He gave two reasons. One, it was a commentary on his brothers' groupies in the early days. Two, it was about a girl named Billie Jean who was claiming he had fathered her children. He speaks of her alluring features and how she smells of sweet perfume. So, it could be talking about his brothers' groupies or his own ordeals with groupies trying to lure him in to sexual relationships. However, he goes on to speak of a relationship that he is already in and how Billie Jean is telling his mate that this kid has his eyes. That part is most likely about the brothers and is a commentary on their infedelity during tours.

I forgot one more thing. When talks about false prophets he is speaking of the many false prophets you constantly speak of our worlds doom. In the Bible it teaches us that there will be many false prophets preaching false things that are not of God's word. They don't know anymore than the lay man. Also, in the Bible are examples of God's dislike of religious contradiction when he talks about worshipping false prophets and gods. He also talks about the Jews not marrying Gentiles, and this is why.

This is a commentary on the general state of the world. He is saying that in order to solve the problems plaguing our world we must stop being so selfish and come together as one. When he speaks of the system and conditioning I believe he is talking about all of the violence, sexual content, etc. that we as a society have become so conditioned to shrug off. Television, music, and general media has a hold of the people and they accept violence and explicit content as a way of life. We have become so numb to these things that we so easily will allow all of these things to happen by simply saying, "Its not my problem" or "everybody is doing it". Television tells us what to wear, what to eat, and how to speak. Music tells us that women should be called out of their name. Video games are telling our children that it's okay to steal cars, beat up, and pillage. These are the things that now fuel the human condition, and being conditioned we have become so individualist that we don't care about the plight of our fellow man. People don't even care about their families anymore. He later goes on to talk about people constantly being confused about religion and what to believe. He is saying that so much religious contradiction within ourselves leaves us not know what to believe. That means even rudimentary beliefs of what is right and wrong. He further goes on to say that this is a task he is willing to take on because quote "It ain't too much for me". This is not about being mind controlled by Joe Jackson. If he wanted to address him, he would not disguise it here.
