i think its about being in a bad maybe abusive relationship with someone, and you both know you shouldnt be together. but you love each other to much to let go even though you know the whole relationship is a mistake. reminds me of my ex and one of his exs, they used to fight all the time and cheat on each other all the time, they both know they were cheating on each other, and when i asked him why they would be together after all that. he said because we loved each other to much to let go.

this song reminds me of something i went through so this is how i intepret it. once there was a relationship between to people. they had proably been working on it for awhile and maybe one was catching feelings for the other or maybe both were, but something happend and one left. and now the other cant seem to get over how close they were to being completly happy with the other.

4 steps past love which in my opinion means they both alrady knew they had feelings of love for each other, they maybe just never told one another.
Now the only thing with that person are the memories of how happy they were and how they will proably never find another love like that so why even bother trying.
i relate to this song so much. its hard to think of all the great times you had with someone you gave you heart too and then relize that you will never be able to see them or talk to them ever again :(. espically when that person ment the world to you |

i think this song is about a relationship. she always goes to the places they hung out all the time and that is her playground, it was the place she ran to see him, he was not just her lover but a good friend also and i think she is talkin about how something happen between them and now they cant be together or talk anymore, so when she goes back to that place it makes her sad cuz it was the place that once brought her so much happiness. well thats what it reminds me of when i hear it. |
