I think the woman the protagonist feels attracted to is his wifes' sister, not his own sister. You can make that out from where it says "But she's not all you, even strives not to be you, just like every sister would do" I haven't yet listened to the whole album so I can't really be sure, since it's a concept album. But I think this song is about a guy who lost his wife (probably to death may be? I don't know) and now sees the image of her in her sister. He is in a dilemma whether he should give in to his desires or do what seems right to him morally. |
