Wow ElectricFuneral91. You couldn't be any more wrong. This song is about a Satanist, yes but it tells about how horrible it is to be one and how he was ultimately sacrificed by a bunch of horrible people. The Satanic element of Sabbath was merely from people (mainly Christians) mishearing the lyrics and taking them as a Satanistic thing when in fact none ever were. |

This is one of my favorite songs off of Rocka Rolla. I think the song is about a soldier, possibly from Vietnam and how they do horrible things, "Rape and pillage, squander all and rob" just because they were told to by "stern faced leaders." |

Slayer's version of the song completely skipped out on the difficult vocal parts simply because Tom Araya just couldn't do it and the guitar work is more drab and boring in the Slayer version than the Priest version. To say it's 'better' is silly. |
