thank you for this great explanation. i don't like it when people try to tell what these songs mean and for about half of the Kid Cudi songs they just say, "this song is about gettin high" which is maybe half of it, but there's more to it than that. |

I love this song because it can really be anyone's theme music. This is like the American dream because he starts out as a kid that needs as much help as he can get, but in the end he says he needs no help because he never let anyone stop him from fulfilling his dreams. |
