I know this isnt anything like what the song actually means but to me it means something different. i had goals of making junior nationals and all american. my coach was then fired. the first night of practice after he was fired i heard this song on the way home. The line "C'mon lets make this dream thats barely half awake come true" made me think that i shouldnt just give up and i can still achieve my goals. i am now on a new team with a new coach and i am gonna reach my goals

This song can make me cry almost every time i hear it. I have a good friend that graduated this year and he helped me so much with many things that were all happening at one time in my life. i remember one day he told me that i shouldnt hold back and just take chances in life. He taught me so much about life and has caused me to do more outgoing things and live my life to the fullest. This song makes me think of him because it sounds like something he would say. It makes me sad to think that he wont be around next year but i know that he would tell me everything this song says |
