What an incredible prayer.. so unflinchingly honest about her brokenness, yet so powerfully trusting in God. it's about taking hold of God.. Gripping onto Him and refusing to let go, like the a lifebouy while drowning in a ferocious sea. when life overwhelms us and we can't understand what God is doing with us, this song tells me that all i have to do is simply say ''Have Your Way'' to God. and He WILL have His way.. His perfect, perfect way in my life. amen. |

I cannot even explain the life that is is just flowing out through this song... it's just blown me back! the first verse really relates to me as i've done so much on stage headlining music and stuff this year at the school concert and other venues, and it reminded me that i 'steal the show' and 'take a bow'.. i'm so 'magical, on display' in those moments. but then God tries to catch me in the eye, coz he's crazy about me, but i 'turn and look the other way'.. now THAT is some powerful humbling thought... and then the chorus.. oh man the chorus! :D the thought after all of this, that the God of the universe LONGS to live inside of me! oh and i how i long for Him to climb into my heart, walk into my skin, swim through my veins and see it from my eyes.. i say again, i cannot explain how much this song is making me reach to God right now in absolute wonder and awe! ALL i can do is give Him my everything, and man alive, it feels like i'm on top of the world |
