| Wakey!Wakey! – Brooklyn Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I think this is about a break up that they both find sad, but yet is the right thing to do as he has made mistakes, that he has openly admitted to. I think he will be her Brooklyn, because Brooklyn is a place cold and far away, which is what he has been like to her, cold and distant. He's wondering what he can say to make it better, but there is nothing, as nothing can be said to make them agree. They are sad lyrics. The singers voice is shockingly powerful though! xx |

| Wakey!Wakey! – War Sweater Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I think the theme of war, using 'battle lines' and 'war sweatter' is used as a metaphor for religion. I think the place he lives is a religious place, but he himself is not religious, he has no morals, is drunk and obsene, is used to describe how non-religious he is. He think there is more, answers are found in different ways than through God. 'If you wonder which sides speaks the truth' questions Do you believe in God? or Hope, Fate and Destiny? you ask God for the truth, but get now answer, so 'you know you can do so much better I think the 'fear for our lives and I fear your closed eyes' is meant to suggest that with belief in God what will come after death? You don't know so live life tot he fullest. The person in this song is in the mood to inspire people to think outside the box, as religion is a tie, and he feels 'untied' That is my take on the song. They are very powerful lyyrics, and so profoundly sung. xx |

| Ross Copperman – They'll Never Know Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think it's about a child who is in foster care, in and out of foster homes, and someone is telling her she has to get through this night, and then they'll push you away, because another home is waiting. But this innocent girl is sad because she should only know of happiness, pink flowers, bows and summer days. She's a beautiful child, with a rough upbringing thats making her cry. It's so beautifully sung, but so sad. xx |
