| really, the uncensored explanation goes pretty well with silent antenna's explanation, my thought of the song is that he could care less about god & he'll get so messed up that jesus would be a hallucination, none of union underground's songs went for a "i gotta get better" mentallity, like drivel, the "its such a shame that it is this way, i'm a junkie and god is gay" part is obviously saying "i don't need god, he is a gay concept, it's a shame others don't see it this way, it is my favorite union underground song & i agree with it 100% | |
