IMO Freddie and Elvis are on the same level vocal wise. Vocally Elvis was a killer on stage just like Freddie. Unfortuately whenever anyone talks about great musicians the same ones get repeated: Elvis, The Beatles and Michael Jackson. Freddie was better than all 3 and this is why: Elvis had great vocals but he couldn't write music or songs. Freddie did all three. The Beatles (Paul & John) were great songwriters but they didn't sing as great as Freddie. Freddie could do both. Michael Jackson could dance and I think he wrote a few songs but Freddie had a powerful voice, solely wrote classics and he didn't need to know how to dance because his stage presence as a rock frontman was the best. But for some reason Freddie never gets mentioned and I think it's a disgrace because he had more talent than anyone. |

| If I had to choose between having a relationship like the one between Freddie and Mary OR a relationship between Freddie and his lovers I would choose the relationship between Freddie and Mary. The bond between these two was amazing. Most of the time sex becomes second or third or nonexistant in a relationship. As we get older it's emotional bonding that matters. That's what Freddie & Mary had. Mary was very lucky. Wow, to have a love song written for you, I get chills just thinking about it. And then she gets one written for her by one of the greatest songwriters ever who also happened to be a musical genius. | |
