Line. As for the title, I think the ' 3 Cheers' part is sarcasm, consider that on their '5 years' he finds out she's cheating. |

My ex dedicated this song to me, so thats why I think this: I think its about someone who's still in love with their ex, but they dont fully relalize it, even though they just sit around and want to (and do) talk to them alll the time. And the ex is just saying, they could fix things and be happy again, if they just say "Hello Again" (like get back together with them) |

I agree with pedro.b But I also think it could mean: Maybe that he's in love with a girl, and knows he's just not good for her, or knows she needs/deserves better. So he does what he thinks is best for her and leaves. He doesnt want to, but he does.
