RedIce08 is right about what the lyrics mean. The album cover says it all. Anyways this song is FRICKING the best song ever. I'm an Opeth fan and a listener of all their albums, and I feel the harmony and darkness that came from the 4 epic songs in Morningrise (Advent, The Night and Silent Water, Nectar, and Black Rose Immortal) are beyond comparison. No one could relate to his way of thinking growing up. He was fixed on fulfilling a dream and no one believed him or could relate.
