| Ludacris – Get Back Lyrics

"Get Back" is perhaps the trademark song within "The Red Light District" Album, with much lines interpretating the efficacious results of showing upright acceptance, followed by the detrimental outcomes for disrespect, of the Red Light District's traditions. Ludacris praised his advocates, but also using his prominent "Disturbin' Tha Peace", to drive off his oppositions, as stated in his chorus "why you yellin' my ear, talking a whole bunch o' shit that I ain't tryin' to hear. Get back, muthafucka you don't know me like that." It's one of the few songs of Ludacris used to counter rivals, with the others being "Move Bitch" and "Get the Fuck Back" from his older albums. |

| David Byrne – Like Humans Do Lyrics

In my opinion, "Like Humans Do" made a considerable amount of references to his older songs, while he was still in Talking Heads, especially "Once in a Lifetime". While much of his "Stop Making Sense" motifs are still present in his lyrics, David Byrne did alter an extensive amount in having a "more aligned" plot, thus allowing the listeners to interpret the details without much opaqueness. Meanwhile, I do agree that much of the actions in his song is what "like humans do", except for the line "I never watch TV except when I'm stoned" is kind of odd, which reminded me how I felt when I watched their "And She Was" music video. |

| 50 Cent – I'll Whip Ya Head Boy Lyrics

This 50 cent song provided one of the best interpretations in defining the inner-city societies of life in a ghetto, where gang violence, vicious crimes and deteriating families and communities were all too common. With relevance too far apart from the outside world, many portions of the rap lines also delineated the lust for wealth, power, and compulsion plaqued many of the citizens, who are willing to utilize any impetuous aggression to gain their wants and disregarding their following consequences and others' agonies. In those days many modern hip-hop musics had minor to major references to the inner-city characteristics. However, this song is probably the most lucid remark towards the subject. |
