Nirvana – The Man Who Sold the World (David Bowie cover) Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think the lyrics are about the duality of man; the old guy and the new guy in the same time. If this the case "face to face" has a different meaning for me, that's a metaphore for consciousness. P.S.: I haven't slept in a while I may be wrong. |
Martina Topley-Bird – Sandpaper Kisses Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Uhhhh excuse my narrow mind (and bad english) but ... I think they used it in Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit to describe the Tyler Miles/Samantha "Sam" Malone plot. Nothing about "gayness" there .. just men and their work (relationship with their work, sort-to-say) Maybe that's what Martina Topley-Bird had in mind too. "I want the soul of something simple to take home with me The world as someplace simple it's my home you see" |
