Not really the meaning, just some symbolism I picked out Being a Christian song, I was reminded of the smilie that God is like the shepard and we as the sheep. "I left the ninety-nine to find the one And you're the one" When one sheep goes missing from the flock, shepards will leave the rest of his sheep to seek out the one who went astray. "I walked a thousand miles In this desert sun" I was reminded of Ireal's heat, the rocky terrian, the ragged cliffs and valleys where shepards tend to their flocks "I was just counting sheep" brings the metaphor to a lovely close. =] |
