Ok, all of you are very far from the true meaning.I think the closest was laurie32.. Demi, of course, did not write this song.. but whoever did was very desperate for the guy to take her virginity away. I fully beleive this song is talking over and over again about how and what the guy will need to do to fuck her, taking her virginity. The waters; her "wet", how much she really wants it. The wall; well the hymen, or maybe just the sex comfort zone/mood. The dynamite; the dick. The crashing down of the wall; the moment, that first fuck. The picture; she doesnt want it just to be a picture, hung, useless. She wants that "THE PICTURE" is well used, well painted. And I leave you with this: "Underneath the surface There's so much you need to know And you might feel like you're drowning But that's what I need to let go" There you have it.
