this is a really awesome song. i think all the songs on this album have to do with confessing our sins. this one specifically is about laying everything before God: every mistake, every wrong doing that we have ever done in our life. confession is the first step in building/restoring a relationship with God, and that's when the healing begins. everyone has their own interpretation of music .. i love the line "sparks will fly as grace collides" -- the darkness within us (sin) is so different from the light (Jesus) that when they meet, they clash. allowing the holy spirit into our hearts is when the light meets the dark. "so please don't fight this coming light. let this blood come cover us.. His blood can cover us" -- we have to ACCEPT Jesus as Savior. :) |
