That's great! Believe me, I want more than anything to be wrong. As for the as strong as they have ever been...I'm not too sure about that. Godsmack has always had their drama. They're New Englanders...'nuff said. haha Although this time around I hear the heat backstage is pretty bad. |

I believe this song is about the whole Crue Fest tour experience. Seeing how Motley Crue call themselves the Saints it seems suiting to me. Also looking at some of the lyrics "If I only knew what I know" That to mean seems like Sully is saying, If I had knows what that whole mess would have been like I would have never done it. The chorus, "I'll shake my fist up to the sky just keeping my dreams alive. I'm one part saint and two part sinner" Seems to me that he's shaking his fists at the powers that be (the saints/Nikki Sixx) and saying he won't back down he's going to play and outshine. This is just my thoughts. What does everyone else think? |

Good Day TO Die = End of Godsmack
Sadly, after listening to all the interviews and watching the latest episode (#8) of the Wepisodes it has become very evident that Sully just does not want to continue keep Godsmack alive anymore. "I stretch my wings and breathe in a different day" The lyrics of this song make it very clear that he has moved on and wants to pursue other musical aspects...The song "What if?", from Sully's own mouth explained how the song is about wanting to call it all quiets and wondering what would happen to him if he did.
The fact that they also have not yet booked a tour after a major CD release is very strange too. I certainly hope this is not the end of Godsmack but unfortunately from the the sings it looks like it might just be that way. |
